I swear it's like every time I update this thing after a brief hiatus I feel like there has been some MASSIVE UPHEAVAL in my life and I have changed COMPLETELY!!!
I don't work at the bank anymore -- long story, but it was ruining my life. I am currently unemployed and I am loving it (minus the stress of not having an income, but taxes have been great to me).
Things have gotten massively better since my departing from Wells Fargo. I am at Brewberry's with KT right now and we are trying to get in touch with Tau Kappa Epsilon -- our big brothers!
Devon and I are vair vair good :) We're going up to Unistar with a ton of our friends from June 27 to the 4th! It's gonna be fabbbb.
I applied for a summer job on campus as a gardener. HOW FREAKING AWESOME WOULD THAT BEEEEE. Getting paid to keep up the grounds! Sweetness! Whatever happens, I'm cool with it. I actually pretty OK with everything these days.
I had a bit of a... something with my dad. I don't know if you'd call it a falling out necessarily, but he essentially told me that he would never help me finance my education and that he felt I was wasting my time in school. His offer to me was free room and board at his house in Minneapolis, which he only offered because he knew I would say no. The whole ordeal was heartbreaking and all, but Devon, my mother, and Stephanie were all there with me that night and I have never felt such a strong safety net under myself before in my life. I'm becoming really good friends with a few girls in my sorority, and I am so thankful for them too. We're trying to make some positive changes within the group along with the alumnae, so hopefully everything pans out alright!
That's basically what's going on with me! I miss you, livejournal people!

Last night I checked out Nicki's apartment in Uptown and was super jealous that she lives in a badass apartment complex. It's called "The Savanna" I don't know why but I think this is so cool! After that I headed on over to Devon's apartment where we played Gears of War 2 on Co-Op for about 4532426 hours (this is a real relationship-tester, lemme tell ya) before getting nummy Mexican foods. We woke up this morning and cuddled like real faggots and it was great.
I like that people actually call me and ask me to get together with them. This is retarded and petty and stuck-up of me, but I enjoy being "Wanted."

I can haz a car! It's a '95 Chevy Corsica, and not at all cute, but it seems like a pretty good car & runs well & we got it for a steal from a family friend &&&&&&&&& this means that I will have, like, my own car! That I will not have to share with anybunny!
I have two days left at the coffee shop before I start my new job! EEEEEE.
Hopefully everything works out as it should!

Minnesota is lucky that its summers/springs/falls are so amazing, because God Damn it is Too Damn Cold outside. The high today was -20, and yesterday -25. The windchill has averaged about -40 all week. FML, MAN. FML.
Devon's car puttered out today when he was leaving for work, so I ended up having to pick him up & take him to work. Later (around 7) my stepdad & I picked up his keys and went to jump start his car. He was parked "nose-in" so we had to put it in neutral and push it out of its spot. Wow, Fuck That. Finally after about half an hour we got it to turn over and run well, so Hayden & I drove our car + his car back to the mall. I get a call a few hours later saying that his car wouldn't start. YAY! So tomorrow (AKA the first day I have seen him in a week (excluding the 30 minutes or so I ended up seeing him today)) we will get to hang out for about 4 hours before having to jump start his car again & buy him a new battery.
Also, the black ice + packed-down snow + idiotic drivers are making the roads a damn death trap. In the past week I know about 7 people who have been in accidents, and the highways are basically marked every mile by someone in a ditch/rear-ended/flipped/etc. WOW.
Basically this post = EFFFF WINTER. IF YOU LIVE IN A SOUTHERN STATE DON'T YOU DARE COMPLAIIIIN.
Oh, and I am feeling about as lovely as I was in my previous post. I reiterate:

Despite everything, I am actually in a pretty good mood. I am still on a "I am finally done with my damn bullshit job"-high! :3

Hay guise! I totally conquered that exit ramp that I got into an accident on last week! I guess it helps that it was 20 degrees warmer outside & there wasn't a blizzard & there was less ice on the exit & I wasn't getting tailgated.
OH ALSO I TOTALLY GOT THE JOB. She called me back an hour after my interview, I'm going in for a 3rd interview with the bank manager at the West St Paul location (where my friend works!) in a few days. YESSSS! :)
I don't care what a douche Kanye West is, I totally love him.

HAAAAY guess what! So on my way to my important interview today I decided that getting into my first accident was an excellent idea.
For those who know Minnesota roads, I was on I-94 W and was exiting onto McKnight Rd. Well since Minnesota roads are complete shit and there was ice everywhere, I slid off the road onto a damn hill:
There wasn't any damage to my car, me, or that light post whatsoever. I just have a pretty bad headache/achy right half of my body & had to shell out a little over 150 bucks for a tow/the state patrol call.
What really sucks is that I was on my way to the interview that was ON MCKNIGHT ROAD. In other words I drove like half an hour to get in an accident at the very end of my trip. So the tow guy (who was awesome) dropped me off in some parking lot and I drove the entire way home along with the idiots on the road. I'll be the first to admit that I can have a lead foot while driving sometimes, but maaaaaaaan I don't mess around with ramps in winter. I hate Minnesota winters/roads/drivers.

AHH. Omigodomigod. So my engagement papers' deadlines were pushed to MONDAY. MONDAY. oh my god, I am so unbelievably happy. LIT WAS CANCELED TOMORROW.... DO YOU REALIZED WHAT THIS MEANS?! For the rest of the week I will be getting out of class BEFORE 3 instead of 4:35!!!
I feel complete re-engergized by this news. However, my sleep schedule is pretty fucked now because I've been up til 2ish the past couple nights with homework, so now I can't relish my newly acquired sleeping time.
I haven't talked to Devon since Saturday, :( I will be happy when J-Term is here and we can spend a lot of time together to make up for this whole lame-ass 'seeing each other once a week' thing. But whatever, I am trying not to worry about that right now because there is an unbelievable amount of shit I have to worry about otherwise!
OH AND! I passed my final (written) test for Lambda Sigma Tau Monday night! Which means I'm invited to I-Night (Initiation)! Ahh I am very proud of myself. 85% was passing and I ended up getting 96%!
I seriously don't understand binge drinking in college; I am working my ass off to keep up and haven't had a sip of alcohol since September!

hey everybunny! i just want to wish everyone a beautiful week. midterms really kind of suck! but i think i did alright on my philosophy midterm (which was 3 essays in one hour). i'm typing up my engagement on the book dearest anne right now. it was a really good book, and if anyone needs a good read i'd definitely recommend it!

omfg-sus christ, this girl is really nasty and made up this boyfriend like halfway through senior year and would always talk about him and obviously raided some stereotypically 'emo' guy's myspace and pretended like he was her boyfriend.
